Every year, during the top of the Danish Summer, the Moesgaard Museum (aka MoMu) invites hundreds of vikings to join in for the moot.

For a week they camp, remember the lifestyle of ancient times and practice their skills with archery, sword fighting, horse riding, fishing and training for the fight. Of course making Mjøl (mead) is also part of the learnings and it can be purchsed in the viking market. It takes place in the surroundings of the museum, by Moesgaard beach. These vikings come not only from Denmark and the Nordic countries, but also from Germany, Poland…
